This was not nearly the Joss Whedon page

The was not nearly the Joss Whedon page I hear you ask? Because although I like Joss Whedon and think he is King of the TV series, well almost king, I think he shares his crown with JJ Abrahams...Alias and Lost are brillient. Plus I am amazed how similar they appear to be in there goals when they are interviewed about their goals. No I am not that said to just like the work of these two people. I am the biggest fan of Dead Like Me! Why won't they make any more. And don't get me started on medical shows, Shows not soaps, Young doctors, general hospital Yeuk!!!! But ER, House and Greys Anatomy, pure class

But isn't it amazing things like Dead like me, Tru calling, Firefly, you just get into them and whollap some fat tv executive cuts the show. Should Tv be govened by ratings, the BBC would have died a death long ago if it was in this country.

This site so far must look a little sad, Doris, Quinten and Joss, but it is finding what to put on it in so little room, but come on, any personal homepage is a vanity thing, so it is going to be a little up itself.

More importantly if JJ is making MI-3 and Joss Wonder Woman, have they forsaken TV!!! God I hope not!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I never realise just how much I liked Buffy until it was no more, for me the middle series were my favorite ones, but it had to come to an end and then no spin offs, why no spin offs, They had Giles, Willow, Spike at a push Xander or even Faith, whom I feel would have been brillient with the mantle.....Still we got a spin off with Angel!

Buffy lasted 7 Series and introduced us to a magical evil never world which exsists alongside us.

Angel

At first I thought what the hell is this, can't stand Doyle and then just when I was begining to cherish his character they killed him. Angel perplexed me greatly....Wesley I loved but they didn't he betrayed them. Cordella went off on one and I am still waiting to see the last series, seen most of it!!! I think!!!

Angel was refreshing because they took Buffy's universe and turnned it totally on its head and it worked. I was sorry when Cordy left Buffy but Annya took her place really and Cordy was ideal for Angel.

Firefly & Serenity

I was one of those who bought the dvds of firefly and loved it, what were they thinking cancelling it. I loved Serenity and hope they will make a sequel. The pictures are off the film rather than the tv series but anyway.....
Most of the time I turn the tv on and turn it back off, reach for a dvd and why is this? Because they don't make enough good stuff, true 24 comes on, but that is sky I DON'T HAVE SKY, so I wait for the dvd.....
"Serenity is a trim little picture of epic proportions."
-- Stephanie Zacharek, SALON.COM

"A space spectacle resonant with witty dialogue, accessible characters and kaleidoscopic action."
-- Philip Wuntch, DALLAS MORNING NEWS

"As always, Whedon's sci-fi fantasies smartly parallel the serious issues we're grappling with here on Earth, while his protagonists remain mordantly funny in the face of utter disaster."
-- Elizabeth Weitzman, NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

"Whedon works plenty of smart pop-culture references into his genre-jumping script."
-- Bob Townsend, ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION

"Half a millennium after Neil Armstrong's one small step for mankind and we're back in the saddle again."
-- Desson Thomson, WASHINGTON POST

"Serenity flies with sass and spirit, qualities that have been in palpably short supply in that Star Wars series since, well, Star Wars."
-- Jan Stuart, NEWSDAY

"Serenity is so like TV that it ought to come with a clicker so we can switch over to the next movie at the multiplex."
-- Kyle Smith, NEW YORK POST

"Whedon, who always delights in blending genres and tones, has assembled his most frantically disparate collection of pop culture quotations, boldly and cleverly going where plenty have gone before."
-- Matt Singer, VILLAGE VOICE

"A good old-fashioned space opera."
-- Michael Senft, ARIZONA REPUBLIC

"It has a great sense of humor about it, an attractive cast and it’s just a lot of fun."
